Over the years, RL Grime's made monstrous anthems that continue to keep the dance floor sweaty, cramped and bumpin'. He's remixed records from Chief Keef, Chris Brown, Cam'Ron, Drake and many others, which sometimes even sound better than the original. Other than his remixes, he's proven to be able to create full bodies of work with his previous album VOID, that he released back in 2014. Since then, he's been dropping loose singles including the Miguel-assisted, "Stay For It" earlier this year. Today, he adds another banger to his catalog.

"Era" is RL Grime's latest effort. The whole song is broken down into several parts, that breed a cinematic feel to it. The song kicks off with a monstrous build up in over a minute before the beat drops and it feels like havoc is reaping through your headphones. While it builds into a trap sound, it later goes off into a drum-and-bass phase of the song. "Era" can easily replace your cup of coffee in the morning and wake you up to an equal extent as caffeine can. It's a high energy banger that continues to prove RL Grime is an incredible producer.

Back in May, RL Grime announced his second album NOVA. While the project has yet to drop, he's currently embarking on a North American tour of the same name that kicked off today. Hopefully with the release of "Era," we'll be receiving his new project in the near future.
