Beyonce's thorough roasting of her husband Jay Z on Lemonade raised a few question, chief among them: who did Jay Z sleep with? Who is “Becky with the good hair?”
The initial suspect was fashion designer and Damon Dash's ex-wife Rachel Roy. After she denied rumors in an official statement released this afternoon, the BeyHive mob turned their pitchforks in the direction of Rita Ora.
In the past 24 hours, Ora Snapchatted a selfie of her wearing a lemon-patterned bra, posted on Instagram the poster for "Ash Wednesday," a 1973 film about a woman who attempts to save her flailing marriage, and wore the same red Gucci dress Beyoncé wore in her “Formation” video.
Ora took to Twitter Tuesday afternoon to deny that she has ever been romantically involved with Jay Z.
“I never usually address tabloid gossip but let me be clear, these rumours are false,” she wrote. “I have nothing but the upmost respect for Beyonce. Let’s continue enjoying Lemonade.”
Ora signed to Jay Z's Roc Nation in 2008 and sued the label for release from her contract last December. If she isn't the "Becky with the good hair"... then who?
