Rikki Blu is an up-and-coming rapper from L.A., but you couldn't necessarily pinpoint his region from his latest track "Flow River". Rather than hopping on the G-Funk revival or Mustard-wave, Blu opts for a darker soundscape, but his delivery is very west coast, sounding equally aggressive and emotional in his cadence.

He's definitely not short on technical ability, but thankfully no personality is lost in his swift double time flows. After the chaotic flurry of rhymes in the songs first half, it rides out with an ambient intro, letting the feel of the track linger long after Blu finishes his verse.

Quotable Lyrics:
Remember everything you told me
Be about your bread and macaroni, homie
'Cause you can love these hoes but they phony, homie
And why these niggas always acting like you owe 'em somethin'?
