The "official" highlight of last night's Billboard Awards was Madonna and Stevie Wonder's Prince tribute, for many the highlight was Rihanna's performance. Two thirds of the way into the show, she stepped out on stage, rocking the green boa scarf and basking in fluorescent green light, and delivered a captivating rendition of ANTI standout "Love on the Brain."
Rihanna was nominated for several awards and won the fan-voted Billboard Chart Achievement Award. The big news from the night: Meek Mill scored an upset in the Top Rap Album category, beating out Drake's IYRTITL, Drake and Future's WATTBA, Dr. Dre's Compton, and Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly for the trophy.
