Both these ATL artists are currently dealing with run-ins with the cops, and they're actually distantly-connected run-ins. For those unfamiliar with the situation, Rico Richie was arrested at the same Atlanta studio where Young Thug shot his "Halftime" visual-- the spot was being investigated by cops because of an indictment against the suspect of the Lil Wayne shooting incident, with both Young Thug and Birdman rumored to be connected to the shooting and the suspect appearing in the "Halftime" music video. Young Thug, on his part, was arrested recently after threatening a security guard at a mall.
The two found the time to connect prior to all these legal issues, on "We Dem." Rico Richie already has one bubbling hit on his hands with "Poppin," an anthem for the haters. Will he see more success with "We Dem"?
