Back in February, Khalid teamed up Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei for a record called “Love Lies” which saw life on the Love Simon soundtrack. The record debuted at number 43 on the Billboard Hot 100, and eventually worked its way up to as high as 36 following their performance at the Billboard Music Awards last month. Now fast forward to today, and the two decide to give the record an added boost by recruiting Rick Ross for the official remix.

Leaving Khalid’s vocals & the DIGI & Charlie Handsome-production intact, Rozay opens the record off with his respective verse, referencing names like Khalid, Van Gogh, & Roseanne in the process. “I see no flaws, so lets face it/ No Roseanne bars, despite the ratings,” he spits.

This remix surfaces just days after Khalid was featured on another soundtrack for Superfly with the song “This Way” featuring H.E.R.

Take a listen to new Rozay upgrade and let us know what you think. Record available now on iTunes.

Quotable Lyrics:

You inspire so much that I write
She’s my Van Gogh, such a work of art
This where my love lies in this sensitive heart
So what’s your name, tell me your number
This such a cold game you all I want this Summer
