Right before Yemi Alade dropped the video for the remix to her single "Oh My Gosh" featuring Rick Ross, the Nigerian Afropop singer shared clips with fans on social media. The vocalist's career has been on the rise following her win on the Peak Talent Show back in 2009. Since then, Alade has garnered international attention which has earned her two wins at the MTV African Music Awards. She also received a BET Awards nomination in the Best International Act: Africa category.

Rick Ross has found that collaborating with Nigerian-based artists has been rewarding, it seems as Alade is the second star who he's linked up with, the first being when Rozay jumped on the remix of P-Square's single "Beautiful Onyinye." The "Oh My Gosh" remix will be featured on Alade's highly-anticipated forthcoming 2019 release Woman of Steel. The record is said to be the fourth studio album from the chart-topping singer.
