Kaytranda is one of the best producers in the game right now. The talented musician and DJ recently released two singles, A Tribe Called Quest remix of "Midnight" called "The Night Is On My Mind" and a Sade remix of "Kiss of Life." The latter of the two is a jazzy reimagining of Sade's classic cut that creates an entirely new vibe.
Kaytranda crafts what feels like a mix of a chill smoker's anthem, smooth techno, and mellow jazz to builds a banger around Sade's sensual vocals. As usual, the Canadian DJ has an air for vibes, and the single influences an entire emotion instead of playing like just another remix. Sade's original dropped back in 1993, and thrived outside of the major pop radar as a smooth jazz cut.
