Rich The Kid's "Dead Friends" drops next Wednesday.
Rich The Kid's reached a new level of recognition since the release of "New Freezer" in the fall. It served as a perfect track to kick off the campaign for his debut album The World Is Yours. However, the little publicity stunts and beef he's been involved with has helped keep his name in the headlines including the issues he's had with Lil Uzi Vert. A few weeks back, RTK previewed a new song that seemingly took shots at the "Money Longer" rapper. The rapper has now revealed a date on when to expect it.
Rich The Kid's diss track towards Lil Uzi Vert, "Dead Friends," will see the light of day next week. The rapper shared the cover art on his Instagram story and revealed that he'll be premiering it on Zane Lowe's Beats1 show next week. The song is also getting a visual treatment as well.
From the preview he shared, RTK rapped, "All them dead friends/ You a little middle man/ You a little man." A clear reference to both Lil Uzi Vert's hit song "XO Tour Life" as well as Uzi's height.
The interesting part about all of this is the fact that Lil Uzi Vert's been pretty quiet about their "beef" with the exception of a few moments. Rich The Kid on the otherhand has been doing the most to get under Uzi's skin but clearly that hasn't worked out.
