You have to respect the confidence. Breakout artist Rich The Kid has enjoyed his fair share of success in 2018, with The World Is Yours making a mark on the greater hip-hop landscape. There was, at one moment in time, the inability to escape the extraterrestrial sonics of "Plug Walk." Alas, Rich subsequently found himself fading from the public eye, through no real fault of his own. Luckily, however, new music can pique dulled interests on a dime, and Rich's recent single "Mo Paper" served as a reminder of his modus operandi.
Now, it seems as if Rich is already looking toward the future. The rapper took to Twitter to announce one of his recent money moves, which involves signing an as-of-yet unknown artist. Yet Rich has little cause for concern. By his measure, his new protege is destined to put 2019 on lockdown. "I just signed one of the best artist you will hear all 2019 !!!" writes Rich. "On God!!!"
Time will tell, though we certainly look forward to seeing what Rich has in store for the years to come.
