Rich The Kid is becoming somewhat of a rap tycoon, bringing up artists under his Rich Forever label and developing his own star in the industry. Jay Critch is one of Rich The Kid's signees who he has been touting as "The New New York," which angered the self-proclaimed king of New York Tekashi 6ix9ine. RTK and Jay have a lot planned for the upcoming year as they look to make themselves into household names. The former is dropping his debut LP The World Is Yours later this month while Jay Critch is banking on the success of his singles.
In preparation for the release of his album, Rich has inked a new management deal with The Blueprint Group, which is partnered with Maverick, joining Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, The Roots and G-Eazy on a loaded roster of talent. The news was announced exclusively to Variety stating that the deal for Rich and Jay Critch will entail worldwide management services by the Blueprint/Maverick team. The official statement by Chief Marketing Officer Al Branch says "Rich the Kid is burgeoning Rap Mogul in the making, I’m so excited to see Rich the Kid and Jay Critch provide the Blueprint for the new generation of artists, entertainers, and executives.”
Jay Critch and Rich The Kid are two of the brightest young talents out right now, showcasing that they can each makes hits of their own but that, when they collaborate, they can create magic.
