After ushering in the new year with the visuals for his “Changed” single of last year, Rich Homie Quan has returned with his latest track “34.” The track is Rich Homie in his purest form as he reverts to the narrative of his come-up.
Currently, RHQ is prepping the arrival of his debut studio album Rich As In Spirit, to be released with Motown Records. Although it is his debut, Quan has previously described it as his comeback album. While the use would seem ill-placed for another artist. It’s all but fitting for the Atlanta emcee who fell out of the spotlight after being responsible for hits like “Flex (Ooh, Ooh, Ooh), “Walk Thru,” and “Type Of Way.”
“Most people hear the word ‘rich’ and think you’re automatically talking about money,” he previously said of the album title in an interview. “You can be so rich in your spirit. You can have a better spirit than a millionaire. I’d rather be rich as in spirit than rich as in pockets.”
