Jeff Ruby, owner of popular steak houses in Cincinnati and Kentucky, has promised free steak dinners for every Northern Kentucky University undergrad student if the #15 seeded basketball team can upset the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA Tournament.

Ruby will more than likely walk away from this challenge financially unscathed, but it's worth pointing out NKU's 15,000 students could rack up an estimated $1 million in protein damages if they pull off the improbable upset on Friday night.

"Yes, this could get very expensive," Ruby said, per WLWT. "But it’s important to me to show support to our hometown organizations. NKU is a real asset to the community as they continue to produce extraordinary talented leaders for our region and beyond."

In NCAA Tournament history, only eight #15 seeds have advanced passed the first round since the field expanded in 1985... but those other teams weren't motivated by delicious steaks.
