Adrian Peterson spent the first 10 seasons of his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings but he's ready for a new chapter which will reportedly be as a member of the New Orleans Saints, alongside Mark Ingram.
According to NFL.com and Ian Rapaport, AP is expected to sign a contract with the Saints that will pay him somewhere around $3.25 million in 2017, which is less than Ingram is due.
The 32-year old running back still hasn't put pen to paper but all signs point to this deal being finalized sooner than later.
Also of note, the Saints will take on the Vikings in Minnesota on Monday Night Football in Week 1.
