Remy Ma's opening statement as she accepted her award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, a clear shot to her competition as she knocked Nicki Minaj off her throne as the reigning queen of the category for the past seven years.
In her speech, Remy also took time out to thanks her husband and fellow emcee Papoose, brother-in-arms Fat Joe, and shouted out all fellow parolees using her current status as an example of success in the midst of adversity.
Previously, Remy made a point to mention that she was over the beef, but after a fiery Summer Jam performance of "ShEther," and the shots thrown throughout Sunday evening's BET Awards broadcast, it's clear that this beef is far from cooked.
As she closed out her acceptance, she made sure to quote lyrics from her and Fat Joe's "Spaghetti."
"Y'all bitches got fat while we starved/Shots in your ass, pads in your bras/Y'all some liars it ain't no facts in your songs/And yeah that crown is coming back to the Bronx."
