Back in October, it was reported that Remy Ma signed a multi million dollar deal with Colombia Records, but that wasn’t the only change in her music career. Having dropped her husband, Papoose, from being her manager, Remy also decided to then sign with Tamar Braxton’s ex-husband, Vincent Herbert, back in November to help manage her career moving forward. However, it appears Vincent’s run as Remy’s manager was short lived and has already come to an end.

According to TMZ, Remy Ma has fired Vincent Herbert for failing to be the “super manager” he said to be. Sources say Remy felt he was spending more time repairing his relationship with his ex-wife Tamar Braxton, than focusing & furthering Remy's career. He apparently wasn’t living up to his expectations and was dropping the ball on basic managerial duties like booking studio time, and scheduling performances.

Vincent’s focus had been on his family drama instead, with Tamar filing for divorce and a baby mama allegation surfacing, but we cant blame him. It appears to have just been too much on one man’s plate at once, something that happens often in the music biz.

As for her Remy Ma’s next manager will be remains to be seen, but she’s supposed to be readying a new album for 2018, so hopefully this firing doesn't delay anything.

We’ll continue to keep you posted on all the latest with Remy moving forward, but in the meantime revisit her new single with Chris Brown called “Melanin Magic” to hold you over.
