MJ Cole is a London based remixer and producer who got his start in music as an oboe player at England's esteemed Royal College of Music. He released his first album, Sincere, in 2000, which was nominated for The Mercury Prize (her Majesty's award for the best album in the UK and Ireland). Since his break in the Y2K year, he's been producing records and dope house remixes like "Illuminate," that we're sharing with you today.
Tourist (also a London-based producer) released the original "Illuminate," in early November, which features vocalist Olly Alexander's incredible vocals channelling Sam Smith.
This remix has got a great house beat and a lot of funk influence, plus Alexander's waterfall voice - so check it out and let us know if you feel it.
