Taking to a quick, soulful instrumental, Reason delivers a solid dose of bars reminiscent of labelmate Jay Rock, with a rugged sense of honesty and street experience.
Rest assured, "Summer Up" finds Reason going in; he might not be the flashiest, but his genuine depictions of his environment and clever dose of references should appeal to any purist.
