Last week Sacramento Kings forward Zach Randolph was arrested for marijuana possession with intent to sell in Los Angeles but his former Tail Blazers teammate, Rasheed Wallace, says Z-Bo "ain't no dope dealer."

TMZ recently caught up with Sheed to talk about Randolph's charges and he says he knows for a fact Randolph is not slinging weed on the side. Wallace simply chalked it up to, "the bigger the paycheck, the bigger the party."

Randolph, 36, signed a two-year $24 million deal with the Kings this offseason.

He wasn't the only person arrested when the LAPD broke up a party in the street earlier this Summer, as police reportedly booked at least three people, including Randolph, which resulted in even more chaos.

According to TMZ, LAPD were called to the Nickerson Gardens area around 10pm and found a large group of people smoking, playing loud music and blocking the road.

The report states three people in the crowd "grabbed their waistband" and made a run for it so cops went after them, ultimately detaining three people from the scene, including Zach Randolph. The former Grizzlies All-Star was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to sell, a felony charge, due to the large amount of weed found. TMZ claims he was found with two pounds of bud in a large backpack.

After Randolph's arrest pandemonium broke out in the street.

According to TMZ, six cop cars were vandalized, including slashed tires and broken windows, and the LAPD was forced to form a battle line to calm things down. In total, cops recovered two guns, drugs, and a "significant amount of cash."

According to NBC Sports, if Randolph's convicted of “a felony involving the distribution of marijuana,” per the Collective Bargaining Agreement, he’d be banned from the NBA for at least two years.

In addition to Z-BO, the Sacramento Kings also brought in veteran Vince Carter on a one-year deal to help act as leaders on the young squad as they continue to transition out of the DeMarcus Cousins era.
