Last weekend, Reebok officially launched the Fast Flexweave running shoe, featuring the brand's revolutionary Flexweave technology that boasts the coveted balance of lightness, durability, fit and stability. At a recent event in New York City, Reebok ambassadors Rae Sremmurd helped the brand usher in the Fast Flexweave sneaker along with Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman and speed specialist Luis Badillo Jr.

Fittingly, Rae Sremmurd performed "No Flex Zone" at the event, in addition to "Black Beetles," "Swang," and Swae Lee's newest release, "Power Glide."

According to Reebok, the Fast Flexweave provides the ultimate combination of fit and performance, ideal for a wide variety of quick-burst workouts and speed drills. The figure-8 construction of the Flexweave material allows for ‘zones’ throughout the shoe that deliver a unique combination of front-of-the-foot flexibility, midfoot stabilization, and breathability – all with a seamless, street-ready look that doesn’t sacrifice style.

“Innovation should never come at the sacrifice of performance or aesthetic, and with the Fast Flexweave, we’re setting a new standard,” says Scott Daley, General Manager at Reebok. “Flexweave is going to be a major part of the Reebok DNA moving forward, and represents a huge step forward in footwear technology.”

The three key features of Fast Flexweave are:

  • Flexweave Upper: An innovative open figure-8 weave
  • Breathable & Flexible: Tailored zones delivering forefoot flexibility, midfoot stabilization, breathability and durable support
  • Precisely Cushioned: Pressure Mapping Technology delivers flexibility and stability

The Reebok Fast Flexweave is available now for $100 on Flexweave material will also appear in performance and Reebok Classics products throughout 2018 and beyond, including the Reebok CrossFit Nano 8 and more.
