Rae Sremmurd had been hinting about dropping some new SremmLife 2 fire all day. A couple of hours ago, an immense banger off the album -- "Set the Roof," featuring Lil Jon and produced by DJ Mustard and Mike Will -- surfaced online, seemingly without Swae and Jxmmi signing off on the drop. The Tupelo bros had other plans, though, as they've just given the "Set the Roof" video a fittingly late-night release. You've never seen 'em turn up like this.
The video starts with a disclaimer: "BASED ON TRUE EVENTS." What then transpires is a dangerously ratchet spa party, hosted by Rae Sremmurd, Lil Jon, and an extraterrestrial friend. Strippers, showers, saunas, snakes -- it gets nasty. The perverse alien is unable to get his freak on until something particularly thick enters the lair.
If this is what SremmLife 2 is all about, sign me up.
