Rae Sremmurd gear up for their album release with a new short film.
It seems that making a short film to promote your album is becoming the new norm these days, not that we mind, of course. Now Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd will be releasing their own short film as well, and have just dropped a weird new trailer for it.
The film, which is being made in promotion for their highly anticipated upcoming album, SR3MM, promises comedy, drama, and suspense. Starring the two brothers, the trailer shows a beautiful new neighbor girl, a half-naked woman holding a lamb in her arms, and a talking monkey puppet.
The trailer doesn't mention a possible release date for the film, or really anything else about it, for that matter, except that it will be coming "soon." Based on how hot all the songs that have been released so far have been, Rae Sremmurd fans must be sick of hearing that word.
This short film will join the long line of content used to promote Rae Sremmurd's massive triple album. The duo have dropped four songs from the album just this month, and considering that the album will be three disks, there's still plenty more to go. In fact, the part-Swae, part-Jxmmi, part-Sremmurd format of the album had some people confused, to the point where Swae felt the need to draw a diagram just to explain it to people.
Judging by this trailer, the SR3MM short film will only offer even more confusion to come. Check out the trailer for their short film below.
