R. Prophet shares his version of his arrest on 4/20.

More details have come in concerning R. Prophet's arrest on 4/20. As we reported, the Nappy Roots member was tasered, pepper sprayed and arrested on 4/20. Now  we get both sides of the story, as Prophet has told TMZ his version of events, which is different than that of the police.

Apparently when the police were attempting to arrest R. Prophet he started yelling "I'm R. Prophet!!!" but the cops understood it as "I'm a prophet," which only added to his erractic behavior. Thus the cops say they had to tase the rapper multiple times, and pepper spray him, in order to get him in the police car.

Prophet, however, says that is all untrue. He says he was fully cooperative with the cops, but they tased him multiple times while he was helpless on the ground and handcuffed. He says, "I felt they were doing me like a slave.  I thought I was dead." They continued to tase him and pepper spray him when they put him in the back of the police car. Prophet claims that things got so bad in the squad car, he thought they were going to take him somewhere and kill him. In a panic, he says he beat his head against the window.

The Kentucky State Police trooper who arrested Prophet claims that the artist was highly intoxicated, and was indangering himself and others by walking directly into traffic.
