Yesterday, R. Kelly was arrested again for having $161K in unpaid child support payments to his ex-wife Andrea Kelly. His interview with Gayle King aired in the morning after they spoke for over an hour about the accusations made against him. He also touched on the child support issues, explaining why he couldn't pay Andrea. According to Page Six, the singer even revealed the exact amount in his bank account.

R. Kelly was once estimated to be worth $150 million. With all that has happened recently, his financial status has dropped considerably and he is now reportedly worth under $1 million. While he currently sits behind bars, it is being reported that during his interview with Gayle King, Kelly also explained why he wasn't able to pay his bail the first time he was arrested.

"So many people have been stealing my money," said the artist. "People was connected to my account. I went by myself for the first time to a Bank of America. Didn’t know what I was doing, didn’t know what was going on … three weeks ago to a month."

He went on to tell King that on his first trip to the bank, he inquired about how much money was in his account. A teller reportedly informed him that he only has $350K before he asked her to transfer the funds to a new account.

"How can I pay child support?" asked R. Kelly during the interview. "How? If my ex-wife is destroying my name and I can’t work. How can I work? How can I get paid? How can I take care of my kids? How?"
