Que dropped off his new mixtape I Am Que. earlier this week, and now that we've had time to digest it, the Cardo-produced "12AM" has surfaced as a highlight. Somewhat removed from the more punchy beats from Metro Boomin and Sonny Digital found on the project, "12AM" gives Que a more ethereal backdrop, allowing him to explore his range, holding on to his catchy delivery, but riding the beat rather than battling it.
As he's already expressed, the tape finds Que coming into his his own as a rapper, as he lets his personality shine through instead of relying on big production or hooks define the work. You can download the project here.
