The Migos are infinitely quotable, but one wouldn't typically think to use their lyrics as a critique for President Trump. That is, until now.

Ari Melber, host of the MSNBC news show The Beat With Ari Melber, opted to quote Huncho during his critique of President Trump's commitment to his pledge to revamp the country's infrastructure. He was making a point that Donald Trump was simply all talk, and how better to prove that than with a Quavo lyric?

After cleverly dropping a Culture reference and reading out a quote from William Shakespeare about how "talkers are no good doers," he moved on to the more modern reference.

"Or take a more modern bar, Quavo, from the musical group Migos," said Melber. "who says, 'Walk it like I talk it.' Cause if you don't walk the walk, it's just not real."

I'm sure Shakespeare would have been honored to be mentioned in the same sentence as Quavo, but Huncho himself seemed to enjoy the segment as well. He posted a clip of the show on his Instagram with the caption, "W A L K I T T A L K I T 😤."

Melder has a history of quoting rap lyrics in his newscasts. Earlier this month he quoted Mobb Deep's "Halfway Crooks" in a jab against Trump, and had previously quoted Jay Z and 50 Cent as well. Perhaps it might be time for Quavo to appear as a special correspondent on MSNBC?
