Quando Rondo has returned to the fold with a new single called "Get Down," proving in the process that certain song titles will never cease to work. And while the young Atlanta rapper recently delivered his debut solo album QPac in January, it's clear he's already started looking toward the future; let's be honest, this new generation of artists isn't exactly known for taking their time, instead often opting for a high volume approach.
Here, Quando comes through with what looks like a single of sorts, with "Get Down," arriving complete with some accompanying visuals. The track itself is produced by Al Gelo, who holds it down with an understated yet vibey instrumental. Fueled by a resonant bassline, Rondo lays down violent threats and contemplative reflections in equal measure. "Just got a MAC, so gave the glizzy with the beam to my goon," he raps, his singsong cadence deceptive. "Two Adderalls, a Perc, a bean, I'm 'bout to go to the moon / put a brand new scope on the AR, when I run down I'ma zoom 'em."
