Quality Control Music is the Atlanta based record label behind many of today's successful Hip-Hop artists. The Migos, Lil Baby, and Lil Yachty are just a few of the musicians under the label's management. Quality Control's founders Pierre "P" Thomas and Kevin "Coach" Lee took a moment to speak to Billboard about their aspirations.

Quality Control Music was founded in 2013 when Thomas and Lee decided to join forces in an attempt to mirror the success of Master P's No Limit Records. Lee had already been a manager for Gucci Mane and Jeezy while Thomas' resume included rap label Dirty Dolla Entertainment. Fast forward 5 five years and the two executives have arguably achieved their goal. Despite the odds, "we done made 10 millionaires," Lee says. The Migos alone have achieved incredible feats with their album Culture II becoming the group's second consecutive album to debut at number one on the Billboard 200 chart

The label also currently has a consulting agreement with Cardi B, and a rather controversial one at that. Cardi's former manager Klenord “Shaft” Raphael, alleged Cardi's agreement with Quality Control was a breach of contract and filed a $10 million lawsuit against the rapper. Thomas and Lee deny Shaft's claim with the former sharing, “she’s Offset’s wife, so she’s automatic family. Cardi’s very smart. She has seen what we do for artists. She’s got situations going on that we can’t speak on, and she came to us. We consult [for her], and she will continue to do good.”

With Hip-Hop taking the center stage in the international music scene and their already rich history of achievements, the two executives are projected to continue on an upwards trajectory. You can read the full profile here
