Q-Tip and Kanye West have a long-documented friendship as well as working on music together, most recently with Kanye's contribution to A Tribe Called Quest's We Got It from Here... Thank You 4 Your Service. With that being said, Tip has some thoughts on Kanye's recent hospitalization and his remarks at a concert where he claimed he would have voted for Donald Trump.
"It's difficult because I love him. That's my brother," he said in an appearance on Bloomberg Politics. "I reached out to him and I'm hoping that we just get to talk. I just probably will leave it there because I really care about that dude, but his remarks are something that require he and I having a real serious discussion."
