Looks like there may have been a name switch on Pusha T's new album.
G.O.O.D Music's about to have the summer on lock. As Kanye West made his controversial return back to Twitter, he unveiled several release dates for upcoming G.O.O.D Music albums. Pusha T is set to drop his long-awaited forthcoming album this Friday. Many assumed that the album's title would be King Push considering that he's been teasing the title even before he dropped his last album. However, it seems like the album's had a name change.
Scott Vener, co-host of Apple Music's OTHERTone with Pharrell and veteran music supervisor, posted a screenshot of an advance streaming of the album. The screenshot reads, "Stream Pusha T - Daytona (Album)" so it looks like we won't be getting King Push.
Regardless of the title, Pusha T is bound to deliver another album that's filled with coke raps and high quality production. Over the weekend, his manager, Steven Victor, shared a screenshot of a group text which included Pusha T. The rapper stated that he thinks the album is "flawless." It's not uncommon for a rapper to say that but Pusha T has constantly reached or exceeded the bar that fans set for him.
It's definitely exciting to see what Pusha T has up his sleeves for his project. There hasn't been a whole lot of information pertaining to the project but we do know that Kanye West will be producing it in it's entirety.
