What an incredibly sad day for hip-hop. Just hours after XXXTentacion was senselessly gunned down in his home state of Florida, fellow Pittsburgh rapper & T.G.O.D affiliate Jimmy Wopo was also shot & killed on the streets of his home town as well.
Jimmy Wopo was reportedly shot in a double drive by shooting Monday afternoon. The police said that both victims were taken to the hospital but where Jimmy Wopo was said to be in critical condition after being shot in the face and the other man was in stable condition. Unfortunately, Wopo didn’t make it through & was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Immediately following the news of his passing, several fans & fellow peers took to social media to pay their respects and condolences, including Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Pusha T, and many more.
