We’ve got a brand new artist to share with y’all today. Pure is a singer from Newark, NJ, and he blends a polished R&B/Pop sound with his experience growing up in rough streets for a final product that’s unlike most music.
“Rolling” is a club-styled dance record, but the lyrics are 100% real talk, with Pure singing “there’s not too many real niggas left / so we gotta party like it’s our last chance.” The smooth singer takes a lot of his inspiration from his surroundings. "Life is mainly the inspiration behind the songs I make. I pull inspiration from anything. A fun date I just went on, playing ball,” Pure explains. “My hometown of Newark, New Jersey is like no other place on earth. From the aggressiveness to the beauty, it forces you to be loud. Not only in the sense of sound. But your in your energy and aura."
