One half of legendary rap duo Mobb Deep, Prodigy has supposedly been working on a new record since summer of 2015. Titled The Hegelian Dialectic, we haven’t heard a peep from the Queensbridge rapper since rumors circulated the album would be dropping in early 2016.
We’ve reached the time when the album should be dropping, and on cue DJ Absolut has let loose a short track titled “Originate.” Clocking in at less than 90 seconds, the track might be more accurately called a snippet, but either way we get to hear Prodigy spitting his classic bars. We’re excited for more from the OG.
