Prodigy of Mobb Deep departs from his production partner Havoc today for a collaboration with Brooklyn musician Mark the Beast. The record, aptly-titled "Beast With It," is part of Marvel's "Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet" series.
For those unaware, or not into comics, Marvel has been promoting their breakout super hero of the year, Black Panther, through this series which "features innovative recaps of the red hot Black Panther comic series, the video series merges animated comics, commentary from Black Panther writer Ta-Nehisi Coates, and a pulse-pounding musical score from the hottest artists in hip hop."
The record kicks off with a string intro before getting quite heavy on the bass, verging on dubstep. What do you think of Prodigy over this style of production?
