Last time Problem teamed up with fellow Los Angelino Salva, the product was the monstrous "Drop That Bitch," which also featured Schoolboy Q, Kurupt and Bad Lucc. Following "Old English," another all-star cut that Salva was behind, the producer has once again teamed with Problem for a track called "Motivated."
Like a rougher-edged version of a Mustard beat, the instrumental that drives "Motivated" uses strings, clattering hi-hats and thunderous bass to create a trippily turnt composition. Chaci is all over the place on here, rapping with ferocity one second before showing off his singing voice the next.
We need a joint EP from Problem and Salva, stat.
