Saturday Night Live aired one of its best episodes in recent memory last night, with former cast member Chris Rock returning to host, and none other than Prince showing up as the musical guest. The Purple One and his band owned the stage for eight straight minutes, performing a jam comprised of three new tracks.
With Prince rocking sunglasses that The Underachievers and Ab-Soul could get down with (shouts out to the third eye fans), he put his band through their paces, leading it all with his always-extraordinary guitar playing.
It's not often that a legend like Prince blesses late night TV with his presence, but when he does, it's a capital E event.
