Pries has a new tape called No Glue 3 on its way, and after sharing a few new records to get us warmed up, he's come through with the first official release from the project. "LA LA LA" is definitely a strong showing from the rapper, who's generally pretty consistent as it is. The TroyBoi instrumental features a mash of sampled vocals, an infectiously bouncy groove, as well as some R&B backing vocals, which come together to make something pretty special.
Of course, Pries is at the center of it all, demonstrating his ever-improving songwriting dynamics, interacting with the sample with witty punchlines and catchy hooks. Look out for NG3 on September 5th.
