Post Malone & 21 Savage maintain the top spot.
Despite the controversy surrounding Post Malone in recent weeks, the anticipation surrounding his forthcoming album is still high. The singer dropped off the first single off the project "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage earlier in the fall and it's still making just as big of a splash now than it did when it dropped. After shooting up to the top of the Billboard 100 in October, it seems like it still isn't budging from it's position.
Post Malone's massive single, "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage has officially stayed at the top of the charts for it's eighth consecutive week. In addition to that, it's also number one of the Hip Hop/R&B charts as well. Back in November, Billboard revealed that "Rockstar" was the longest running hip hop number one single of 2017. So it's safe to say the two artists made a major mark this year with "Rockstar."
In other Post Malone related news, the singer was excepted to drop his sophomore album, Beerbongs & Bentley's on December 1st. As the day came and went without any sign of a new Posty album, many fans were left disappointed. Post Malone later elaborated on the delay. He cited the fact that he's been perfecting the album and told fans that it won't be dropping for a little while. It's upsetting update for anyone who's been keeping an eye for the project. Regardless, if he's steadily perfecting the project, he will likely make sure that the project exceeds everyone's expectations.
We will keep you updated on anymore information surrounding Beerbongs & Bentley's.
