The massive popularity of games like Fortnite has attracted porn stars. Many of them have been live streaming their gaming sessions for extra income on platforms such as Amazon's Twitch or Youtube. Some of these individuals have dollar signs in their eyes while others participate in the craze for pure pleasure. Viewers are often given the option to encourage the entertainers to continue streaming by donating money during the broadcast.
Overwatch and World of Warcraft are some of the other games the porn stars have flocked to. Prominent names in the adult industry are benefiting from these games as well as lesser-known entertainers. Mia Khalifa, Rahyndee James, and Riley Reid have been partaking in the live streaming practice.
British XXX-actress and game streamer Harriet Sugarcookie has commented on the new trend.
"First, remember that porn stars have a lot of free time – like athletes. They get paid a lot of money for a relatively short amount of work. They end up with a lot of free time. Video games are a great way to kill that time."
In her opinion, the entertainers, who are usually clothed during their gaming sessions, need to offer real entertainment in order to be successful in their efforts.
"It is an independent form of revenue, but like any entertaining job, whether camming or streaming, to get donations you simply have to be skilled. You can’t expect to just go on as a big-name star or having giant breasts. You have to be good and entertain people."
