Playboi Carti's debut self-titled mixtape has finally arrived, and it delivers on the promise of the rapper's popular SoundCloud singles. Much credit is due to Pierre Bourne, a rising Atlanta-based producer who landed 6 credits on the project, including single "Woke Up Like This" and "Magnolia." The latter track was previewed as a snippet last week and has since become a fan favorite among the new songs.

Pierre's buzzing bassline meets an infectiously catchy hook from Carti: "In New York I Milly Rock, hide it in my sock." It also plays very well in its original snippet form, making for the perfect concoction for making a viral rap hit in 2017.

Bourne previously contributed many of the beats to Young Nudy's 2017 release Slimeball 2. You can stream and download that project here.

Quotable Lyrics:
In New York I Milly Rock, hide it in my sock
Used to sell rerock, running from the cops
Shooting at the opps
'Yo, Pierre You wanna come out here?'
Shooting at the opps, 'cause I run they block
