While Kanye West may be retiring from the compact disc game, it appears Kendrick Lamar isn’t. On Monday night, TDE CEO Top Dawg pretty much confirmed the news that Kendrick’s latest surprise Untitled Unmastered project would be hitting stores sometime this week.
Top Dawg originally hinted at the idea of physical copies being released after a fan had asked him on twitter Saturday afternoon. But tonight, things look to be confirmed when he once again took to twitter and replied “yep,” to a fan who asked “are we getting hard copies of untitled unmastered this week?”
In addition, the TDE CEO also confirmed that a vinyl edition is in the works as well, but he didn't give us a specific time frame for that one though.
