Phoelix has been steadily branching out this year. First finding notoriety as a key instrument in crafting some of the best sounds coming out the midwest (Noname, Saba), the Illinois native also hopped on the road and trekked across the country with Smino and Earthgang on the Hoopti tour this season.
Now as the tour has come to a close, Phoelix will be surely capitalizing on this moment of momentum. One stride in this mission arrived a week before the Hoopti run officially shut down as he delivered on a self-produced joint with "BBS." For those just getting acquainted, "BBS" certainly makes the case for a talent that has been tucked away in the background for far too long.
