Last night, American Express hosted “American Express Teamed Up”, an intimate discussion with NBA Hall of Famers Shaquille O’Neal and Phil Jackson, moderated by ESPN’s Hannah Storm.
The event took a look at their exceptional careers and the role that their teammates played in helping each of them win a combined 17 NBA Championships (including three together from 2000-02 with the Los Angeles Lakers).
One such role that Shaq played was that of comic relief, and The Zen Master recanted the time that his 7'1 350 lbs center showed up to practice wearing nothing but his shoes. We're guessing Mark Madsen didn't dare try to post up Shaq on these types of days.
