Coming on the heels of the recently released Pharrell x Adidas NMD "SolarHu" Collection comes another SolarHU pack - this time utilizing the brand new Adidas SolarHU Glide silhouette.
Like many of Pharrell's Adidas collabs, including the "SolarHU" NMDs, the three SolarHU Glides feature vibrant, eye-catching colorways consisting of yellow, orange, green, red, purple, black and blue.
“Africa is a beautiful continent and the origin of civilization,” Pharrell said. “Running is a state of meditation. Why not go back to the motherland and take inspiration from such a vivid and rich culture? Why not create a tribute to this incredible sport? Why can’t the shoe that people wear on the street have a performance function? This is what we sought to achieve with this collection.”
Additional details include Adidas branding on the tongue and "Hu" branding on the toe and outer ankle. Beneath it all sits the beloved Boost midsole, appearing just as it does on the wildly popular Adidas Ultra Boost.
Each of the sneakers, and a line of matching apparel, are officially slated to release in both men's and women's sizes via Adidas.com on September 25 for the retail price of $150.
