The Pharrell x Adidas collaborations show no signs of slowing down in 2018, as several colorways of the popular Adidas NMD HU have already surfaced.
Earlier this month, we previewed two colorful renditions which will be releasing in celebration of India's "Holi" Festival at the beginning of March. Today, reputable sneaker source @YeezyMafia has revealed even more of what's in store from Pharrell and Adidas Originals later this year.
The trio of Pharrell x Adidas NMD Hu NMDs that were unveiled over the weekend are reportedly part of an upcoming "Afro" Collection. Each of the sneakers, featuring colorful variations of a tribal design, have words running down their primeknit uppers which read, “Milele Mbele”, “Mother Land”, and “Empower and Inspire.”
Release details for the three "Afro" NMDs have not yet been announced but artist renderings of what the kicks will look like can be found in the post below. Stay tuned for details as more information is revealed.
