On Tuesday afternoon, Pharrell took over the iHeartRadio twitter account for a little while and held a Q&A for his die-hard fans. During this time, P was asked a question about the possibility of a new N.E.R.D. album coming in the future, and his answer was exactly what we’ve been waiting to hear.
According to Pharrell (See tweets below), a new album from his former group, N.E.R.D., is indeed on the way. He didn’t reveal anything else about the album, like when we can expect to hear it, but he definitely just made it a real thing now.
What we do know from this announcement is that new music from Skateboard P is on the way. While we wait for that though, check out an unreleased track from N.E.R.D. titled “Locked Away,” which Pharrell premiered on Beats 1 Radio last month.
