Pharrell has been killing it with every release off of his soundtrack for the upcoming flick "Hidden Figures." His latest single off the album, titled "Apple," is possible the strongest release to date from the project, largely because of a feature from the incomparable Alicia Keys. "Apple" is most definitely in the vein of the other singles channeling the late 60's retro flavor. Pharrell would have done well in the Motown era.
"Hidden Figures" is a story of three black women working at NASA in the 60's who make enormous contributions without the recognition of official documented history. It stars Octavia Spencer, Janelle Monae, and Taraji P. Henson.
