PewDiePie is catching heat once again for a distasteful meme he shared on social media. PewDiePie, whose real name is Felix Kjellberg, is one of the biggest YouTubers in the world, and currently boasts nearly 65 million subscribers to his channel. Kjellberg posted a meme mocking Demi Lovato's recent overdose. The meme shows Lovato asking her parent for money for food, but then buying heroin with the cash instead. It has already been revealed that Lovato did not overdose on heroin, despite popular reports. Since she was reportedly given Narcan when she was found unconscious, several media outlets jumped to the conclusion that heroin must have been the drug that was used.

Kjellberg deleted the meme, which he only shared and did not create after several Lovato fans began to shame him on social media. "Deleted meme. I didn't mean anything with it and I didn't fully know about the situation," he tweeted. "I realize now it was insensitive, sorry."  Kjellberg isn't a stranger to controversy. Last year, Disney stopped sponsoring the YouTuber after it was discovered that he had used anti-Semitic imagery in his videos. He was also slammed for dropping the N-word during a live stream. He apologized for both incidents.
