Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are two names you've seen more times than you anticipated you would this Summer. The young couple went from dating to engaged in a matter of days, and their full speed relationship has been at the center of the press all season. Davidson recently sat down for an interview with GQ, and he opened up about his relationship with Grande.
"It's all bullshit. GQ wouldn't hit me up if I didn't recently get engaged to a super-famous person," Davidson told the magazine. "Nobody gives a shit, you know what I mean?" He may be right, but he does have the platform now, so he might as well use it. For those who think that Davidson got engaged too quickly, he claims it was even faster than the public knows. "The day I met her, I was like, 'Hey, I'll marry you tomorrow,' " he stated. "She was calling my bluff. I sent her a picture [of engagement rings]. I was like, 'Do you like any of these?' She was like, 'Those are my favorite ones,' and I was like, 'Sick.' "
The SNL star also admitted that Grande bought their new place. She dropped $16 million for the spot in Manhattan, while Davidson just stocks the fridge. "She's really sweet. She's like, 'This is our house,' and I'm like, 'You're very nice for saying that. Thank you for letting me stay here,' " he joked. "She's like, 'We're getting married!' And I'm like, 'I know, thank you for letting me stay here.' It's like, we have six bean bags, but we have no forks—you know what I mean? We're learning how to be adults. We're having a really fun time."
