Pete Davidson is still working over at Saturday Night Live and seemingly doing 'okay' amid his breakup with Ariana Grande. He caught some shade from his former fiancee when he made an engagement joke on the episode's teaser that led Ariana to respond accordingly. "For somebody who claims to hate relevancy u sure love clinging to it huh. thank u. next,” she wrote.
TMZ is now reporting that the former couple apparently had a deal that they would not talk about the breakup publicly. Pete has already joked about it at a stand-up routine last week and the promo added more salt to the wound, leaving her with feelings of betrayal. Pete has now decided to pump the breaks on any jokes regarding their time together and the breakup, and the show's executive producer, Lorne Michaels, has also agreed as well.
No one seems to know the real reason the couple ended things, but sources have claimed it had to do with the passing of Ariana's ex Mac Miller. We're sure the reason for their breakup will be revealed in due time.
